I am a lover of terrible scifi fantasy. Schlocky paperbacks bough cheap from used bookstores, and the weird stuff people self publish online. I love great ideas executed to the best of people ability, and tropey nonsense.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer on a Conservation Corps, which had me , among other adventures, using 100+ year old crosscut saw (the big saws lumberjacks in cartoons use) to clear fallen trees from a Canoe trail in the old growth swamps of Congaree National Wilderness.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A collection of Cherokee and Appalachian folktales and stories. A deep excitement to engage in philosophical discusion about almost anything. Home cooked Southern food. The ability to snake a drain and hang a door. Terrible advice.
