ABOUT US

We are couple, 30 and 31 years old, from Finland. Our life has been all about traveling since our first backpacking trip to Asia in 2012. During the recent years our routine has been to travel during winters escaping the cold and dark Finland and earn money during summers to make that possible.

We enjoy visiting different places from hiking trails to big cities. We see ourselves as some kind of nomads and even when having a permanent address we like to keep a sense of freedom in our life. For us traveling is more a lifestyle than a hobby.

In April 2018 we decided to try something different when moving to Malta instead of going back to Finland. After one unforgettable year in this beautiful mediterranian island we are going to head back to Helsinki soon. Instead of flying we are planning to travel from Malta to Helsinki by land (and by ferry) and visiting many European countries on our way - and that’s why we are now looking for hosts.

We are into healthy lifestyle and vegetarian/vegan food. We both love hiking and snowboarding besides other sports. Ira is physiotherapist who has worked as a casino dealer and at online casino support. She is also going to start studying to become a personal trainer. Suvi is working as a waitress and a website content editor.

We have lived the most of our adult life in Helsinki. We can start hosting you in there when we have settled down after the summer.

We have some great couchsurfing experiences for example from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Paris and Germany, Taiwan. It have been really cool to get to know new people from other countries and making new friends!
