About Me

I love new adventures and meeting new people (doesn't everyone though). I am open, reliable, and giggling way too often. I like to share stories and experiences and am a believer that true happiness is best when shared.

I spent years traveling and couch-surfing around Europe and Africa during my 20's. During this decade, I grew from my interactions with people that I met and had experiences that shape me today. Now I am married to a wonderful greek woman named Antigone, and more settled down while working in a hospital.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After couch-surfing all over Europe and Africa during my 20's I am now interested in maintaining my contact with the community of people that have shaped me into who I am today. I believe in paying forward the experiences that I had and love that simple acts of generosity and hospitality may greatly influence ones life.

Interests

I have traveled a fair amount in what sometimes seems like another life. I am open to sharing my experiences and love to learn about others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen, watch, and read anything new.

Music: Everything... And I actually mean it. For example, I may listen to country music, then switch to dub-step then reggae, or hip-hop.

Movies: Anything but horror films.

Books: House of God, Catcher in the Rye, the Red Rising series, the Thrawn trilogy, plus many others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things happen every day. I have many stories and am happy to share my tales with anyone who wants to listen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to ski, some first aid, or biochemistry, if you are interested... I am always excited to learn bits of new languages and different customs. Also, I am open and flexible so if you are willing to teach me something I want to learn!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am open to sharing experiences, happy to make breakfast, and love the interpersonal interactions created through couch-surfing. I don't know if I always have a tangible item to share with hosts, but I will bring an open mind, an interest in their culture and community, and respect for their space and well-being.
