Why I’m on Couchsurfing

having left the corporate world and tuned into manual / osteopathic medicine & extensive studies, it felt right to explore new avenues.

i appreciate the CS philosophy; globalization done differently, connecting culturally open-minded people, who embrace different viewpoints on life and share theirs.

a social network that creates positive interactions, turning the internet into a transnational, cultural tool for social change. there are no guarantees in life, disappointments are part of life, so with CS. yet it seems that CS is a valuable platform that transforms travel and the world.

i am a single mom living with my 14-year old vibrant girl in a beautiful city flat without doors, hence i prefer to host female travelers. but happy to meet up with guys and advise how to get the best out of the nordic capital.

i am receiving plenty of couch requests, and i aim to accommodate as many surfers (with a genuine CS spirit) i can. the prerequisites are a well-prepared profile and sufficient references or alternatively verification for a new member. any polite communication naturally entails addressing the recipient. if your request lacks this and it's all about you /there is no reference to my profile - sorry, i will decline, as nobody appreciates copy/paste requests.
