About Me
Hello!
It feels like the world is getting smaller everyday! Mobility rate of the humans is increasing (haha, at least pre-Covid ages!). Multiplicity too. Now, the number of crossing paths is much higher than any time. I believe that, every human being that I meet, is a key of unpredictable lands! My dream is crossing from these lands and letting myself to change with all their elements! Seeking for the change!
I am İrem, a human from Eskisehir, Turkey (once called as Gordion, the land of King Midas!), who currently lives in Buckeye land and tries to understand rust ordinarily! Here are some facts!
-Materials science grad student
-Currently living in Columbus, used to live in Istanbul, Krakow, Göteborg, Hong Kong, Nagoya and Helsinki!
-Curious about new cultures, traditions, legends, stories, languages
Can't wait to meet you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The people that I meet during my travels and the adventures with those people stay as unforgettable and special memories in my mind forever. And I think, couchsurfing is one of the best ways to meet fantastic people. In addition to that, getting know a new culture or a place always better and easier if you have someone around you who used to live in that place.
Also, sometimes, getting to know a new person and sharing experiences is a very effective booster against the repetitiveness of life!
