I'm a 25 year old, born and raised in Slovenia, moved to the Netherlands for my bachelors and have been living there for 6 years now.
I am especially interested in arts and creativity and love learning new things and meeting people.

I love different cuisines so I often plan meetings with friends around lunch or dinner dates so we get to explore all the great cafe's and restaurants around Amsterdam. I love tattoos, currently have 9 and constantly planning more. I love to walk barefooted and like to believe you don't need a lot of money to have a good life. Imagining a happy future, I see myself living somewhere on a sunny island growing coconuts (yes, I'd totally waste all those years of education).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After graduating I took a few months off to travel around Europe with my husband David. Throughout the travels we tried to Couchsurf as much as possible to get in touch with locals and have a less typical approach to visiting unknown cities. We met many inspiring people along the way, whether being hosted or just meeting up for a drink and I'd love to continue with it in the future.

Pretty busy with boring work life most of the time lately I'm not always available for hosting but whenever possible always up for it! If you prefer staying in Amsterdam than our little Amersfoort I'm also open to just show you around and point out some of my favourite gems.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like various music genres, from ska, indie folk to irish punk and jazz. I really appreciate people who make music & if I had any musical talent myself I'd want to be a street artist.

I love movies which have complex stories or include ideas of a future-scenario like life. Some of my current favourites are: Birdman, Children of Men, Waking Life, Memento & Into the Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wrote a script for a horror web series & went to shoot it in the Ardennes forest.
