One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ho svolto un anno di servizio civile in Ecuador, vivendo in comunità con altri 10 volontari! Ho lavorato con donne vittime di violenza e con bambini di un quartiere indigente nella città di Tena, al confine con la foresta amazzonica. È stata l'esperienza che ti cambia la vita e sono tornata con la consapevolezza di aver ricevuto molto più che dato.

I did a year of civil service in Ecuador living in a community with 10 other volunteers! I worked with women victims of violence and with children from a poor neighborhood in the city of Tena, on the border with the Amazon rainforest. It was the experience that changed your life and I returned with the knowledge that I had received more than given.

Hize un año de servicio civil en Ecuador viviendo en una comunidad con otros 10 voluntarios! Trabajé con mujeres víctimas de violencia y con niños de un barrio pobre de la ciudad de Tena, en la frontera con la selva amazónica. Fue una experiencia que cambió mi vida y regresé con la certeza de que había recibido más que regalado.
