Hi everyone! My name is Irene and I'm a 28 year old Italian girl who loves to travel, read and discover new things. I'm a very open minded person and I believe there's always something to learn from anyone, however diverse they can be from us - which is probably one of the main reasons why I enjoy travelling so much!

My biggest passion is and has always been reading - I could literally do nothing else for the whole day :) I also enjoy writing, watching films, going to music festivals and gigs, and going to the theatre. Also I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen - though the results are not always as good as I hope :)

Some of my favourite artists include Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead, Disclosure, Best Coast, Daughter and Frank Ocean.
When it comes to films, some of my favourites are Mulholland Drive, Moonrise Kingdom, Little Miss Sunshine, To The Wonder, We Are the Best, Welcome to the Dollhouse - just some random titles to give you an idea. Also I'm not ashamed to admit that I've seen and absolutely loved every single Studio Ghibli film :)
Now, let's talk books! My favourite authors are Milan Kundera, Haruki Murakami, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Banana Yoshimoto, Leo Tolstoy, George Orwell and Italo Svevo. But I'm also a bit of a nerd and I will forever love the Lord of the Rings trilogy (with the rest of Tolkien's novels), the Harry Potter saga and the Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones' books) saga :)

I could teach you Italian (which is my native language) and some English. I could also help you with copy-writing, proofreading, anything of this sort! Also being Italian I could share with you tons of great recipes :) I also have 10+ years of experience as a childminder, so I could definitely help out if you have kids!
