About Me

I am a self employed artist, traveling and working for vfx and games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet new people and connect at a deeper level with the land and culture, immersing in new different ways of living, playing, dancing, and cooking from around the world.

Interests

With a background in fine arts I have worked in vfx, animation and photo manipulation for many years, I am eager to keep my skills growing while exploring the world and getting inspired by its wonders and people.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is always difficult to pick, but I think the top movie which influenced my path is undeniably Jurassic Park, or Space Jam, or Mask, or, Roger Rabbit, or maybe TrumanShow, oh, I don’t know.

But that was for life action, for animation probably I’d go for Pompoko from Studio Ghibli, and a classic, little Mermaid.

I tend to think Dr.Slump comic books and tv show likely had an impact on my sense of humor.

Some books I’ve enjoyed:
La catedral del mar, Ildefonso Falcones
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Mark Haddon
The Last Jew, Noah Gordon
The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared, Jonas Jonasson
The Celestine Prophecy, James Redfield
At Home: A Short History of Private Life, Bill Bryson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Make laugh my 12yo niece everyday while fighting her cancer.

Look at the lava popping up at Villarrica's volcano and slide down on its ice.

See Holbox in its wild essence before it becomes a complete tourist resort full of hotels.

Swim in Mexican cenotes away from the crowds.

Participate on rituals of an Indian wedding.

Diving with Thresher sharks.

Admire the flamingos fly next to us and over our heads in a little boat in Celestun.

Make fire and sit around it with the locals at playa Dominical in Costa Rica, after one of the best possible sunsets.

Get rained over under the majestic Iguazú falls.

See the sunrise from the Fitz Roy after its steep trek to the top.

Paint a kid flying, Captain Umbrella, in a wall of the favela Roccina, Rio de Janeiro, with support of the ngo that helps women and their kids in that community

Sit at the top edge of Machu Pichu, felt the energy of the place and let my soul dance with it.

Enjoy a glass of wine at the drop of the Grand Canyon North Rim to see the sun caressing its features with the last rays of the day.

Hike up the Amazing Angel's Landing and down The Narrows in the same day.

See the sunrise hitting the Grand Teton after contemplating the milky way by the camp fire.

Visit 9 states and 9 national parks in the US on a 34 days roadtrip sleeping on a van and with some amazing couch surfing hosts.

Learn surf in Sri Lanka and follow the pilgrimage to the top of Adam’s peak for the most crowded sunrise above clouds.

Walk the Cambodian temples and the dried floating village.

Drive a scooter bare foot, on a swim suit, sipping from a coconut, through dirt roads to paradise places in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam, or surrounded by million others in the same street breaking the rules of space and time in the last one.

Worked remotely from the most amazing office view ever at the BeachHub, Koh Phangan.

Be blown out by diving with mantas in Nusa Penida.

Eat scorpion, worms, and get my first little tattoo in Bangkok.

Happy to always share knowledge, tips, stories, games, wine, food and adventures!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help with english/spanish/catalan/french language practice, do handcrafts together, share some experiences, game nights filled with laughter, or quiet moments listening to the breeze, the sea, or the song of the crickets under a starry sky.
