Overview
About Me
I'm very easy-going girl originally from Finland. I talk a lot, I laugh even more and I absolutely love trying new things and getting to know new people. I don't drink, smoke or use drugs, mostly because of my sports background. I competed in swimming for ten years before coming to the US and while living here lifting, spinning and Pilates have stole my heart.
I moved to the USA in August 2014 and moved back to Finland in August 2015. I went there to see another culture, get new experiences and specially those ones which are impossible to get in Finland. I was living in Philadelphia, PA for first five months and moved to Calabasas, CA after that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First I was Couchsurfing because that way I hope I would get more out of my vacations. Now, since I can also host, I hope to learn about other cultures and meet amazing people all around the world.
I can share my culture and you can share your culture which makes me happier than anything! I want to meet new people and I'm very tired of staying in hotels (when I was swimmer, I stayed in the hotel every single month, at least three nights) since that gives me nothing. For me part of vacation needs to be getting to know people, new culture and new ways of living, and Couchsurfing sounded such an excellent option for me to meet my goals and hopefully I can host you and give you as great experience as I have got with Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movie's are "Hunger Games" now and forever (well, who knows…), music I like everything else but heavy-metal and "Hunger Games" are my favorite books (isn't that surprising?!)
I just saw Jurassic World and it's one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen! Almost better than the Hunger Games…
And now I started reading William G. Barkers book "Alcatraz #1259". I haven't read books in a long time but this one is amazing!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have so many of them but tried to think something not so common… Skiing in very north Finland, seeing northern lights there and met the real Santa Clause. Yes, he lives in Finland, not in North Pole, sorry ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can absolutely teach you some swimming moves! I would really love to learn how to cook some meals from your country and if you have some language I don't know it would be great to learn some phrases! I can teach you Finnish and Swedish, too. Both of them are pretty difficult but I'm a great teacher haha :)
I can also cook you some finnish meals if you don't mind they not being perfect ;)
