About Me
Hey there!
I'm Italian living in Scotland :)
With the risk of sounding like a car advertisement I think I can be summarised as:
Yearn for poetry,
Thirst for adventure.
Driven by passion.
Guided by purpose.
I love sports, nature, and outdoor activities. I played rugby for years (union and sevens) and boxing, I love hiking, camping and mountain biking though I have not done it much these past years. I am madly in love with surfing (though I am still beginner). I have been thinking of moving somewhere closer to the surf. At the moment I mostly lift weights at the gym.
I nurture myself with poetry and art. I am especially into contemporary art. I studied filmmaking so slowly getting back into writing an old script I had left untouched for five years. I did a MSc in psychology. I work as collective advocate just now, bringing people together for a cause and helping their voices being heard. I am very passionate about it.
My purpose in life is eating as much cream as I can. Pasteis de nata, crema pasticcera, crème brulée, etc. Though I am coming to terms with being lactose intolerant. Life can be cruel.
I identify as non-binary.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, I think each person is a window to a new world. I think couchsurfing is a very interesting way of discovering places and meeting people. When traveling, I want to meet the locals and immerse myself in the real places, I am not interested in tourism. And likewise, I can guide you as a local here, take you off the beaten path.

Music, Movies, and Books
I constantly listen to music, punk, indie, and mostly electronic - ambient, experimental, techno, synth wave etc. I love going to gigs.
I mostly read Japanese fiction. I love the minimalism and I need that because my head tends to be fairly chaotic.
I have not watched many films lately. I don't have a favourite one though the first two that come to my mind just now are 'Perfect Days' and 'The Florida Project'.
