Hello!!

My name is Irene and I am a fourth year medical student, studying currently in the US. I have studied my first two years of medical school in the wonderful Caribbean island country, Dominica, and I miss that place every day!

I have lived for a while in beautiful sunny Miami, but currently living by Manhattan.

I love dogs, and am a dog mom to my 4.5 year old Lola! And I live and have recently gotten engaged to this handsome, intelligent adventurer named Leonel!

When I not spending my life away working and studying, I love to read, improve my photography skills, cook&meat, garden, do yoga, go to salsa classes, spend time with friends, watch/play American football... and sometimes fútbol tambien :) I have a dream of traveling, meeting new people, and learning multiple new languages, but alas, my life is usually in the books...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to travel to new places, learn new languages, eat amazing food, but most importantly: meet new people and develop long-lasting relationships!! I hope if you let me stay with you, we can spend time and enjoy that time together and hopefully you'll one day come to stay with me as well!
