About Me
Hello!
I am a lover of culture and nature and am an avid traveler. I am creative and work as a graphic designer, ceramicist, yoga and meditation teacher, I am also a green thumb and beach lover, and I have a soft spot for our expansive blue skies and the deepest blue oceans here in Australia.
I have just returned from a month yoga pilgrimage in India and about to travel to the US to visit my bestie in South Carolina, visiting Dallas to chase the total eclipse on April 8! This will be my third trip to the US. :)
I have spent a lot of my life traveling the world, I have lived in three different countries - Australia, The Netherlands and the UK. I have couch surfed and travelled woofing through Europe and love meeting new people and embracing community. My favourite experiences have been working as a volunteer on organic farms, meeting amazing people and learning new skills.
I grew up with a multicultural family my dad is Swiss, mum is dutch and my step mum is Japanese.
This is my first time using this online platform as I have mostly couch surfed through friends of friends in the past. I love house sitting and it’s a plus if I get to spend time with animals. I value the generosity the Couchsurfing community and all of my friendships!
I love anything art, have an eclectic music taste, deep green nature, earthy red dust land, sitting in meditation, yoga, adventurous road trips, camping, riding my bike, dancing, playing with clay, making art, farmers markets, hiking, reading, conversations, cooking, swiming in the ocean and the magic of travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have just returned from a month pilgrimage in India for my yoga practice and about to travel to the US to visit my bestie in South Carolina. I will be visiting Dallas for a few days to see the total eclipse (I am an eclipse chaser!), this will be my third trip to the US. :)
I love meeting new people, making new friends and experiencing new cultures, travel makes you feel so alive.
My favourite way to travel experiences is to embrace the local culture, spend time with locals, making new friends and living the life and rituals as a local :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music ~ I have an eclectic music taste which flows between soul, alternative, garage rock n roll, power pop, country, post punk, punk rock, indie, moodie vibes, 50s rock n roll, funk, dream pop, etc...
Movies ~ I love a good cult film and am in a movie club so have seen lot of recent films especially for various film festivals.
Books ~ I have been diving into reading a lot about philosophy, yoga philosophy and spirituality recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent time in the Swiss Alps in a little Heidi's hut near Gstaad making cheese from the cows, picking herbs and bathing in weigh milk amongst the mountainesque nature with no hot water or electricity. It was a dream experience.
