About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and to learn the world. I love travelling and always I can, I do.

After 3 years far from family, I decided to come back to rest and spend the "cold" months at home. ("Cold" because in all 3 months it hasn't been real cold at all, for good or bad)

But those "cold" months are coming to the end and my body is asking for adventure!! for change and for oportunities to know the world from its base -people.

ABOUT ME

I am from the South of Spain, land of sun (I love to be outdoors). I love travelling and knowing different cultures and get involved with them. Since 2016 I have a partner with 4 legs and plenty of hair. His name is Nilo and we travel all we can, he comes with me everywhere possible. I love meeting new and interesting people, share stories with colegues and a beer/wine in between or just water, doesn't mind. I am a feeling person, that means I am guided most of the time by feelings and it is difficult to me hide them. Always get a learning of every difficulty or anything, also from positive feelings you can learn something. I am very friend of my friends. I am scout and love it phylosophy.

Apart of our little trips, I am lover and defender of mother nature. I think it is very necessary to be aware of the human impacts on the environment and to know what little and big things we can do to make this world a better place.

I think volunteering is very important to develop our society and ourselves. I'd been volunteer for the Red Cross doing activities with old people, children and about enviromental issues. Also I volunteered for the local animal shelter in Spain, from where I adopted Nilo.

I love flowers and colors! I need them in my daily life, if you know me for sure you will notice it. I need to do something crazy from time to time to feel that I am still alive and don't get bored of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love travelling, and I started seriously when being on Erasmus, so I go on a trip whenever I can. I love meeting such awesome people like I have known with CS, not just hosting but also hanging out.

I did CS in many places I have travelled and love that experience, I like to do not just for saving money (which it is important because I think we are slaves of money - btw, are we crazy; 54€/year to verify a profile??) but for meeting and discovering people around the world. While I am not travelling and when I had space at home, I offered a couch for who wants to discover where I am, last time in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz (Spain), now in Zadar (Croatia).

When I host people, I liked to be with them, show the city and the hidden spots, how people life in general and to share time! I is a pity when I can't do it :( but anyway I understand CSurfers need a place even when the host cannot spend time with them.

The first time I did something like CS, it wasn't premeditated: I was doing Blablacar (sharing the space on my car for a trip) from Sevilla to Cordoba. We arrived later than 12 in the night at my home city and an english girl who was in my car still needed to look for an hostel, so I was no sure that my parents were going to allow me to bring unkown people at home without advice and at that hour in the night. But I called them and surprisingly, they said yes. She slept in my sister's room that night and the next day I drave her to a nice hostel in the old city centre.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am awful with the names in general. I like almost all kind of music, because I like dancing like crazy person! Any kind of music that gets into my body, I like it! haha I don't know if it is understandable.

In general, I like good vibes music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hichhiking! Since i started i loved it. I hh from Croatia to Greece and will continue in my future trips. I met incredible people on the way and brought me hope in humanity somehow. I had amazing experiences and learnt a lof, i love to be in the nature, connecting with people, with dogmate and with myself.

Three summers ago, my sister and me bought a van to share for our trips. We camperized it for making our trips easier and cheaper, and I took Nilo and friends and we went to different trips through Spain and the south of Portugal in 2016 and 2017. It was really amazing experience, now I don't have the van anymore because i moved to other country, but it is a target to buy one and make it my home.
