My name is Irina. My surname means a star in my native language Belarusian ;) The word “star” always had a special meaning for me. The world is as big as a night sky. I love very much the expression “The friends are like the stars in the sky. You can see them not all the time but they always are near you”. Very nice, isn’t it? I appeciate very much new acquaintances and contacts. And there are so many destinations I’d like to visit! Also in my work I communicate every day with foreigners as I am logistics manager and my work is connected with organization of shipments between Europe and CIS countries. Languages are my next passion. I speak German, English and now I am learning Spanish. It is a great feeling to learn not only the language but also the culture of one country!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling, if I have time and possibility, mostly on my vocation. It is great to meet new people and spend some hours together chatting, making sightseeing and getting acquainted with them.
