About Me

Hi there!!

I was born in Barcelona, and since always, the city where I live is my favorite city ever! Still, I do not limit myself to travel whenever I can.
I study Political Science and a minor in Gender Studies. And at the same time, I'm having small jobs that I find. I also work as a volunteer as a free time instructor of children and adolescents.

Currently, I'm having one of the most amazing experiences in my life: I'm living in Tampere, Finland since I'm doing an International Exchange. So I'm meeting a lot of people from all over the world, traveling, learning a little of Finnish (at least I try!!), and mostly discovering myself since I'm in a stage of introspection, learning by listening to other people experiences. This adventure it's finishing in May 2018 after 10 months, so I'm planning to go to Iceland and Canada during May, June, July, before coming back home.

I really enjoy to talk about politics, obviously, is one of my favorite topics, even tho sometimes is really frustrating, so I realized that is important to find a balance with other topics that I like in the same way, such as talking about, listening and playing music (I play the transversal flute since 16 years ago), go out, discover new places, travel, talk about history of art, visit museums, practice yoga and cook VEGAN food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used Couchsurfing for a long time through friends, but since I'm in Finland, I created my own profile.
It's the best option to know people around the world. I think you only know the places when you meet the people from there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is soooo amazing that I can't decide on a specific style, it would mean limiting myself to other styles that maybe I would like. I'm really open-minded in music, even tho classical music accompanies me since I was small, and I have always had a special affection for everything it conveys.
But I also really enjoy folk music, classic rock, symphonic rock, some Latin music styles (perfect for dancing!), political music, and I like very much to discover small alternative groups that play in my mother tongue: Catalan, or other minority languages of Spain such as Basque and Galician.

And films, OMG! I'll just say, that I'll never be tired of watching them. Same with books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the chance to stay for a week in an indigenous village of the Aymara people, in the middle of the Atacama desert in the Chilean Andes. I experienced the sensation of being almost 3,000 meters high and I shared my days with many llamas, alpacas, and incredible people.

My friend and I hitchhiked all over Finland being below zero degrees, and even tho on some occasions we had to wait a looooooot and we wanted to abandon the trip from the cold we had, every single person that we met was wonderful!
