ABOUT ME

Waking up in the morning, I remember my dreams, try and make sense out of them and see how my subconscious is doing. Then I take a nice shower with some stuff that smells good and natural. Some coffee with foamy hot milk would be nice! Breakfast's for later. Then reading some interesting article about society before I start my day. Then I go and and enjoy my work, which now is guiding foreign visitors through Amsterdam and other beautiful places in the Netherlands, but soon will be music again, as a singer & composer; writing, rehearsing, checking sound and performing. And celebration after success! A nice beer, some good laughs, a loving conversation. Meeting people, sharing curiosity for each other, setting up a little musical jam or listening to exciting music. Then at some point during the night I finally convince myself it is now really time to go to bed.

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself! You're the only one who can do that as well as you do!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I grew up a Servas member; same idea, but on paper instead of the internet. Beautiful experiences meeting total strangers and becoming friends.
Also, I was an exchange student as an adolescent bursting into womanhood, forming new non-blood families on the other side of the world.
Also later, living in Mexico or the Netherlands, I met many sisters and brothers of many countries. Brothers from other mothers.

Scubadove in Yucatan's cenotes in Mexico; played rock gigs in large public squares in Mexico; looked out over my university town Utrecht from Dom tower; saw flowering bulb fields in Holland's springtime; showed and explained people the art work of Van Gogh & Mondriaan in the Kroller Muller Museum; experienced Burning Man festival in Nevada, USA; sang in rooms with beautiful acoustics; loving a man dearly
