Hi!! My name is Irene, and i love traveling and meeting new people :) I've been on erasmus last year and it opened up my eyes about so many things, and since then i'm starting to go on trips alone since my friends are not so travel-friendly.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think the main reason couchsurfing is so appealing to me is that allows you to really get into the culture and into the people's ideas from the place you're visiting, which is something i always thought i missed when i traveled like a typical tourist. I would love to visit not just the main famous attractions but what locals like aswell :)

兴趣

I love reading (always have a book running around in my bag), listening to music (all kinds really, although i tend to like more the indie style), of course traveling, i am a film maniac haha i watch the films in original if it's possible, don't care if i have to read substitles, i love animals, trying different sports (i'm not really fit but i think i could try almost any in an amateur level). I love spending time with people that like art, whether is paintings, music, writing... i think it's a great way to learn :) I also like trying different food... I don't know, i lot of things i guess! :)

My favourite artists are Muse, Queen, Ed Sheeran, Cat Power, Seeed... So many, but those are the ones i listened to most i guess. Also a lot of classical music, but usually i put on spotify so don't know whose are my favourites.

My favourite films... i love ganster films (casino, goodfellas, godfather), films from Wes Anderson (the grand budapest hotel, moonrise kingdom), some oldies like casablanca, and so on (i can't decide my favourites really xd)

And my favourite books, i would say Romeo and Juliet, Wuthering Heights, atonement, white oleander,... right know i'm reading the game of thrones saga.

I love cooking (especially baking), so we could exchange recipes and ideas, cook together. I also love going to concerts (any type really), being with animals, show a bit of my culture, my language if it's different... I also write short stories and i like searching for inspiration so we could exchange ideas.
