About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Si può tutelare se si può amare, ma non ami se non conosci"
ABOUT ME
Extra-curious and hyper-eclectic! Life is one only, and brief also: this is why I hate missing good occasions to experience new things.
PHILOSOPHY
Before speaking, think.
Love your life with dignity, as it's the only thing others should never take us away, and honesty.
Observe, enjoy details, the little simple things people do everyday.
Take your time. Even if this world drives you crazy sometimes and makes you run: stop, think, and re-start with a new feeling!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the moment, I am participating as a surfer or time-sharing companion or a "tourist-guide" because to host people where I live now is rather complicated (see hosting section) . I like to bring little thank-you gifts (usually Italian food!) to my hosts, or to cook something for you!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Sten, Oslo, surfed (July 2011)
Asar, La Spezia, hangouts (August 2011)
Charlène and Adrien, Lyon, surfed (November 2011)
Sebastien, Saint-Malo, surfed (August 2013)
Narmina, Geneva, hangouts (August 2013)
Morten, Greenland, surfed (September 2015)
Interests
I'd love to visit the whole world - my travel style is mostly backpacking - but that'd be probably impossible to do.
Hence, my alternative option is to meet people and hear their life stories, reading, dancing, learning new recipes, listening to local music.
I love music and do own a few musical instruments, like a Venezuelan cuatro and Irish tin whistles!

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
I believe that listening to music means that our hearts work too, in addition to our heads.
I am open to any kind of music, but in particular I'm attracted to world music since it represents a way of exploring far and lost countries. Music is the history of a nation; it is the sum of all discoveries, all the evolution of people; it's the dictionary we should use when all other ways to easily communicate are useless.
BOOKS:
Reading is forcing ourselves to imagine, to dream, to travel to other places/spaces/people.
I don't prefer a specific genre, but I do love stories about the sea and mountaineering!
MOVIES:
-Il Pianista sull'Oceano
-Jeux d'enfants
-Into the Wild
-Il Postino
-Help!
-Caro Diario
-Aprile
-The Pianist
-Seven Years in Tibet
-Big Fish
and many more!
