About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to be the best that I can

ABOUT ME

I have sense of humor, and I am a very practical person. I am in touch with my feelings, which makes me sound a bit confusing sometimes... but I think in the long run it is good. I strive to be authentic and loose the battle in being coherent all the time.

PHILOSOPHY

Taking life not too seriously, yes with respect, but avoid over dramatism. Being practical. Trying to see the big picture.. failing to see the big picture...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I had my first couchsurfer a few weeks ago and it was a very nice experience. The island where I live is not very visited by couchsurfers, but please do contact me if you want to visit Bonaire. I think CS is a great place to meet people from all around the world.

Interests

Life in the open air, diving, camping, sailing, petting dogs, cooking, reading, listening to music, laying in my hammock under the palm trees, taking underwater photography and video, walking, biking, exploring caves, watching the stars and the moon on a sandy beach

Music, Movies, and Books

Into thin Air(Krakauer). Under the banner of Heaven (Krakauer) Hasta donde me lleve el viento (Eduardo Rejduch). The Road less Travelled (Scott Peck) El agua la vida y la sexualidad, Michel Odent. MOvies: JFK, Vendetta, Jesucristo de Montreal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living the dream of living and working in a Caribbean Island. Dolphin encounter in november 1999 (one to one).

Teach, Learn, Share

I need to learn to plan my future, I can teach how to live without planing a future ;-) and I would like to share my view of the underwater realm. I can teach diving, my own language, how to cook and eat both enjoyable and healthy food, how to lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle, how to think practical.
