About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a Spanish girl who, after graduating from Translation and Interpreting in English and German back in 2015 decided to hit the road and went to Southeast Asia. After having travelled around for a bit, I massively crushed on Vietnam, so I decided to move there and start a new adventure in that amazing country. My Asian romance lasted for two years and I now live in Madrid, where I work as a high school teacher.

I'm a very outgoing, active person who enjoys socializing and meeting new people whenever I have the chance. I'm up to almost everything and I love making the most of every situation.

PHILOSOPHY
Life is an amazing gift, don't ever let anyone tell you different!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used Couchsurfing for the first time back in 2013 while traveling around the USA and I found the coolest hosts in Chicago, Vegas, San Diego, LA and Puerto Rico. While in Southeast Asia, I had the great luck to be hosted by the loveliest person in Bangkok, and the same goes for my host in Hong Kong.

Once I moved to Vietnam I decided it was high time to return the favor and I began to host people myself.

Couchsurfing has helped me met so many incredible people on my travels, and has made me had nothing but great experiences. Thanks to all my amazing hosts I've seen things, discovered hidden gems, visited places and tries dishes I would've never found out on my own.

Interests

I'm a very active, outdoorsy person, I love jogging and put my sneakers on every time the weather allows me to do so. Hiking and the mountain is one of my passions - luckily enough, Spain is the second most mountainous country in Europe!

Also, I spend as much time as I can in the kitchen - my seafood paella or my tortilla de patatas will give you a real taste of Spanish cuisine. I love cooking as much as I love eating every kind of food and dishes from all over the world - Spanish, Italian, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Chinese, Greek... you name it! And the spicier the better.

Languages is one of my passions too. I can speak Spanish, Catalan, English and I try my best with German and Chinese. When it comes to languages, I never have enough.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I never tend to share my recipes, but I could make an exception with you! As a teacher, giving away some low-key Spanish lessons would also be an option ;)
