Hi everyone! :)

I'm Irene but everybody calls me AVA and I am an italian girl from Milan. At the moment I do not live in Milan anymore but in my flat there are two beautiful kind girls, Cassandra and Camilla, and there is also our sweet cat, Argento so if you need a place to stay close to one of the bigger cities of Italy just let me know.

Right now I am travelling in Australia but I change location in ozzyland every 2 month max. I do not wanna stuck in a place too long here...life is too short and world is huge, there are cultures, places, smells, colours, music and emotions that I want discover and deeply understand.

Future planning? Really I don't know but I'm interest in discover the world, improve my languages, writing about people, feelings, dangerous situation in different part of the planet. Right now my deepest dream is maybe teaching/organizing children education for some ONG and in the maintime writing about tiny hidden realities around world.
And play my violin, I can't live without playng music and share it with other people.

I've a big problem with racist and closed-mind people: I do not believe in borders or states, I just believe in one world made up of trees, animals, wind, water, sands, mountains and atoms and some(times) humans.
I love talking, walking around nature in the middle of nowhere, layng on the sea surface but also stayng for hours watching a piece of art, listening a Simphony or reading a literature masterpiece.

Everyone is welcome in my hometown and I hope to find lot of people who are welling to share emotions, experiences, parts of house but expecially pieces of life with me.

I'm on Couchsurfing in order to meet people from other cultures and with different lifestyle; one of the most important thing in life, in my opinion, is find ourselves through other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my life and my job: I listen very different kind of music according to my life period. I love classical music expecially baroque one but, for example, goa and psy music too. I love jazz and I wrote a lot about jazz music on newspapers. Music is not a joke or an amusemant, for me: if you're a musician, in my opinion, you must have critical examination every time you listen a sound. It's a curse, but it's also amazing. I assure you. :)

In this period of my life I'm mad about Alice Phoebe Lou...She is a very young creative South-African singer and she always plays her guitar on the streets in order to share her music with every kind of people. Busking life is the way !

The last movies I saw there was "Venus in Fur" by R. Polanski, trilogy "Three Colours: Blue, White, Red" by polish director Kieślowski and Pochahontas by Walt Disney :))))

The last book I read was "The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy.
