I am Italian but I have been living abroad for some times. I did my undergraduate in Rome and my Master in Paris. Then I started a PhD in Durham, during which I moved to Tokyo for a year for a research fellowship.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I love travelling and meeting other cultures.
I think that visiting a place does not give you enough insight of the true life there, unless you stay for a long time or you stay with someone local, to show you around, advice you the best corners to go to and show you how really people live in the place.

Interests

My family uses to make fun of me, saying that I don't have interests because I simply like everything.
I have a great deal of curiosity in every field of knowledge and cultural activities in particular. I like music, movies, theatre, arts in general -even in my big ignorance about it-. And of course, as a good mathematician I like science very much.
I particularly love reading and languages, so I particularly enjoy books in original languages.

I have been living in three very international campus for the past few years so I got passionate to learn about other cultures, their books, their movies, their music and their habits and traditions.

I love cooking and I'm always ready to learn new recipes or share mine with others. I'm always more than happy also to just offer a good meal to friends or people I like!
