ABOUT ME

My name is Irene. I am a Malaysian Chinese that love traveling and making new friends.

When I was small, my parents were busy working and I hardly have the opportunity to travel. I started my own first oversea vacation in 2008 to Phuket, Thailand with Airasia. Ever since then, I will go for oversea vacation at least once a year.

I prefer travel on free and easy by renting car with driver or going around on our own rather than taking travel agency tour.

The places I been to are Phuket (Thailand), Koh Samui(Thailand), Brunei, Singapore, Macau (China), Zhu Hai (China), Bali (Indoneseia) and Seoul (South Korea).

Languages that I know - English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese, Hokkien, Korean.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was planning my trip to South Korea in 2012, my vacation partner told me that she might not be able to join me. Then a friend of mine introduce me to CS if I am planning to go alone.

Met new people and brought them around KL and became friends.

The furthest place that I have traveled is South Korea.

Using the basic Korean, I was able to travel to a country with language barrier.

I am currently learning Korean language advance class. Not sure what I can teach or share anything at the moment. You will get to know it when you know me.
