Born and raised in a small beautiful town called León, flew away to study medicine in Budapest some years ago. At the moment looking forward to land in a new, unknown place when I am a doctor, after this transition.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that discovering a place with someone who knows it is way better than following a travel guide. For this reason, even though I am not a host or guest that often, I very much enjoy meeting random travellers and showing the unknown wonders of the places I lived in. Same places, different people, each time a new adventure.

Interests

I am more of an urban person and I like to spend my time moving around and tasting the cultural vibe of the city. Concerts, exhibitions, theatre, markets, pubs... I believe bicycles are the best thing the human being has created and biking is my favourite way of moving around, it just makes me happy, unless it's raining. Rain is pretty annoying unless I can stay inside the whole day and have milk with Nesquick.
I love nature as well and spending a silent moment with the trees and myself but I have always lived in cold environments so I tend to escape to the countryside only in the summertime. Everyone should sit next to a water stream and listen.

Music, Movies, and Books

I go through my days with music so it's pretty much the soundtrack of my life. I like music without vocals, it suits better to different situations and moods.
Psytrance, balkan, reggae, funk and classical.
Every style of music that contains these words in any of their combinations: acid, ambient, dark, deep, dub, fusion, jazz, nu and psy.

I love the dreamy stories of Murakami. Lolita. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Las Edades de Lulú.
I don't like going to the movies, rather watch them on my laptop on the couch... Only movies with a teaching, mind-blowing or thought-provoking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping from a cleft to the sea. Climbing-hiking up a mountain. Those feelings. Those deep breaths.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that in some kind of way, everyone I meet contributes to a part of me and vice-versa. We are the world that we experience and the world is an experience of what we are.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know almost everyone cooks for the hosts at some point. I cannot cook, but I can try. Or I can offer anything else I can make with my hands (I draw). I guess the best I can give away is not something you can touch, eat or see. I like to live. To have good talks, give and receive stories, experiences and share adventures. Go out of your comfort zone with somebody that has not been part of your comfort zone.
