ABOUT ME

I am a peaceful, optimistic, happy person, loving and friendly. More than anything, I love music and being in the sunshine. I love mountains, trees, flowers and all things that grow. I want to travel the world and see life in every corner of the planet.

I am a violinist and a teacher. I love cooking, eating, trying new foods and restaurants. I love to sing and mess around on guitar or piano.

I absolutely love meeting people and making new friends. I am so incredibly blessed in my life with amazing friends and supportive family. I wish to pass it on and share the love!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time couchsurfing was in Bermuda. We had an amazing experience. It was so nice to meet locals and see the island from a different perspective. I felt incredibly lucky to have had such a positive first experience. It really increased my faith in humanity and my love for people!

In 2014 I couchsurfed in Bali in Indonesia with a friend as we travelled around for 3 weeks. We had an incredible time and spent a lot of time with our hosts checking out local culture. They taught us how to surf and took us to local restaurants. Once again, I felt very fortunate and I wouldn't have had it any other way!

I am really looking forward to meeting more people and couchsurfing in other parts of the world as well as hosting friends one day when I have a place of my own. Cheers!

so many interests! I want to learn about everything. there is so much that I know so little about but would love to learn more about! Just to name a few...buddhism, cooking, biology, plants, trees, eating healthy, gardening, oceans, music history, art history, painting, want to learn how to play cello, the tao, Tibet, ancient Greek philosophy, poetry, running...

Music, Movies, and Books

I really don't watch movies but my list of music is absolutely endless. I love classical and romantic music, solo piano music and quartets. I listen to lots of other music. Currently, I am digging Dark was The Night, the RED compilation CD and I am learning how to play some new songs on guitar by Damien Rice and Jeff Buckley. i love reggae, hip hop, house and anything you can dance to! I also love EDM

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt. Rinjani in Lombok, Indonesia. It was an incredible 3 day trek to the summit and back down. The summit was at 12,224 ft and the final ascent was a sandy, steep climb. The view from the top was worth every step. We arrived just in time to see the sun rising above the volcanos in Bali as the moon dipped down beyond the ocean.
