About Me

CURRENT MISSION

if you don't think EVERYday is good, try missing ONE

ABOUT ME

CITIZEN OF HOPENHAGEN

da vinci is my idol....

i've drawn ever since i can remember. i like to think of math and science as an art all its own. to me, science and art are inseparable and this is why i find da vinci so amazing.

i love smoke... i know, i know; it's bad for you. but i have had a dangerous love affair with smoke since i was very young.

obviously, like many of the people here,iI love to travel and learn languages. i've always been fortunate enough to meet wonderful people who are willing to take me into their home while abroad, and i am glad to complete that karmic cycle and open up my resources for others :)

PHILOSOPHY

i try to live my life with love. i pretty much follow the golden rule and try to treat all with due respect.
i try to fully experience each day for what it has to offer. whether that be pulling all nighters partying in LA or napping the afternoon away. it's all great!

and to savor those moments when the world slows down to a speed i can comprehend. they're few and far apart, these moments, but, man, are they worth treasuring.

i try not to let life get me down, and let it wash over me when it does get tough. because there's always sunshine after rain ;)

i have learned to love my fellow brothers and sisters and to forgive them and forgive myself for our imperfections. this has been one of my greatest challenges in life that i still am working on.

i've learned, it's definitely all right to disagree. it's all right that we are not perfect, that we make mistakes and maybe are not always present or thoughtful in every moment. it's how we react to such moments that is important. it's how we make our mistakes which is truly amazing.

i try my best not to be prideful, but loving and forgiving.

i want to learn to embrace the humanity in me and in all of us. :)

my favorite quote that really winds all this up is from the legendary Jimi : "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky".

Music, Movies, and Books

as far as music, how can one be expected to restrict themselves to one genre?
i love music, the way it can affect you, motivate you, inspire and call to you.
i don't have any particular favorite. i just cherish when groups or individuals can create something of substance and do it well :)
my all time favorite would have to be elliott smith, though.

amazing lyricist. i'm all about the lyrics. and anyone who can make melancholy seem so beautiful is a treasure.

several types of music i can pin-point: indie, dubstep, samba, experimental, classical, opera, blues, brasilian funk ;)

books. pretty much anything from f scott fitzgerald will be a winner with me. also "how to be happy, dammit" is a favorite of mine as well as the alchemist, the prophet. books by kerouac, aldous huxley, orwell, hemingway, jd salinger.... this list can go on and on. i'm a bit of a book-worm :)

movies.... it's a lot easier to go with director, but

i'm a huge audrey fan; anything with audrey is always a pleasure. she is such an elegant soul..

i enjoy alfred hitchcock, guy ritchie, tim burton, just recently jim jarmusch, hayao miyazaki and tarantino films, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've seen nothing more or less amazing than anyone else on this crazy earth.

life's too great not to realize it. we've all witnessed
humanity and compassion at work....

what's more amazing than seeing that in motion?< /a>

Teach, Learn, Share

anything and everything i can

i've had some experiences that have offered me information and skills; some useful, others maybe a bit ridiculous. :)

but learning isn't a choice, only through sharing and teaching do we ourselves truly grasp the task at hand. when there are so very few obvious "win-win" situations, why pass one up that is staring you in the face.
