About Me

I'm an open-minded girl from the northern city of Murmansk (inside the polar circle!) in Russia. I study history at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in Kaliningrad. I am social and like to speak about anything. I started travelling not a long time ago, and love it so much I can't stop. I'm planning on hitchhiking my way from Vienna to Paris in February and March. :)

I've been involved in postcrossing (https://www.postcrossing.com/) for more than a year, and it's been so interesting to get to have a glimpse at different people coming from different background and various countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my boyfriend want to see the world and meet new people, new cultures, and do so the right way (and that is by using couchsurfing!). I also want to learn how to become a good host!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to modern classical music, indie-pop genre and also folk music.
I have some favorite movies about space (Interstellar, The Age of Pioneers (Russian: Время первых)), some drama movies (The Notebook, The Time Traveler's Wife) where I can cry hihi x) And also I like the dystopia genre and documentary movies.
My favorite books are fictions (Russian classic literature especially) and now I should read so much scientific literature, and i'm not against because that's informative and interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went camping on the Vistula Spit, sleeping in a tent on the beach and collecting amber from the sand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new things, especially from people: their philosophy, their thoughts, their lifestyle, their culture, their language, etc.

I can teach you Russian without problem, or Russian history (if you're into that), or simply my life's philosophy.

I love to share meals, conversations, knowledge, anything, really!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My travel and life stories, Russian language, experience on what it's like to live with a foreign partner.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Russian Federation
