About Me
Hey! I am Irina:)
I have lived my whole life in Latvia, although my mother tongue is Russian. After school I have moved to UK and studied Accounting and Finance in the University in Norwich. Now I leave again in Latvia, Riga and work as an Accountant. When I was a child I used to travel around Italy and France with my dad, then I visited some countries in Europe with my family. I like to travel a lot and I feel my soul always craves for the adventures. I love to meet new people all around the world, explore different cultures as well as learn new languages and I am always open to something new!
My big dream is to visit Korea, Japan or Singapore one day, i wanna see Paris again and go crazy in Amsterdam, climb a mountain and pet a tiger, visit Van Gogh museum and sleep under the stars ♡
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to visit a lot of countries in Europe and when I found out about Couchsurfing I was not only excited about budgeting, I was amazed of the opportunity to meet great people who I can share emotions and knowledge with, it is always interesting not just take a walk with a map as droll tourist but plunge into the heart of the city and I guess everyone knows that feeling.. when you not just leave the country, you leave a piece of your heart there, you take with you not just a camera filled with photos but unforgettable memories and exceptional friendships.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I travelled to Scotland for work, but I had no idea how life changing that experience would be. I met a lot of people from different countries (Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia, Portugal, Bulgaria). We explored couple of cities and beautiful places in Scotland together. One girl really inspired me and because of her I even became vegetarian. That was wonderful and I wish I meet these people again in my life.
