Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was little, our house was always full of guests. In addition, we often visited relatives and friends with my family, sometimes these trips lasted for a long time. I was always happy to have guests and to travel. Now, unfortunately, I live in a very small apartment and it is inconvenient for me to receive guests in it. I have always traveled a lot, first in my home country, and then started mountain hiking with a backpack. And only a few years ago I got the opportunity to travel abroad, which made me very excited. At first, I was a client of travel agencies, but every year my travels have become more and more independent. Couchsurfing is a higher degree of freedom and independence in traveling and a new level of communication with local residents.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a very tough choice. I am listening to music occasionally, depending on the mood. I'm not a melomaniac:)
I used to read tons of books voraciously and I have a huge amount of favorite books in all genres, in recent years, I also avidly watch movies. I like witty and controversial works. Due to my work of psychologist, I prefer to read and watch something life-affirming, easy, fun and happy-ending. I have time to see and hear a lot of sad stories from my clients:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is difficult to choose))) I think that the best thing that I've done was starting my work as a psychologist. Every day I help people see light at the end of the tunnel, to become more conscious, cheerful, and confident.

Teach, Learn, Share

while traveling, I'm most interested in the everyday life of ordinary people. I will be happy to learn about culture, customs and traditions of the locals. I will be glad to learn new recipes and can share mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Maybe I'm too self-confident, but I consider myself an interesting and deep person. I think we can have an interesting and productive talk about psychology, self-development, paths that people choose in their life and the meaning of life. I can also share my travel experiences. I will gladly discuss a movie or a book. I can conduct psychological counseling or show some methods of work, such as psychodrama and art therapy. I can cook something delicious. I know how to listen very carefully and gratefully))) I can bring something from Russia within the weight standards.
!!! I have a big request! If you want to get my psychological advice in exchange for hospitality, then warn me in advance. When I'm on vacation,I'm not a psychologist, but a traveler.
