ABOUT ME

Hi! i'm Irina. i was born and grew up in Russia, on the Far East. That land is so much beautiful, infinite forest, stream and deep rivers, sparkling snow in winter. But at the age of 17 i moved to St.Petersburg to study at the university. I studed environmental design. In august 2017 I moved to the Netherlands to live with my husband.
i love travelling and discovering new places. i don't mind visiting the same places many times, every time i find out something new. i like to meet to new people, to talk to them, to share life experince and culture.
My friends say i'm crazy and wonderful)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is an amazing oppotunity to find new friends and even family. I was told about this site a few years ago when i just started to travel. And i'm very happy i joined this community.

i love rock, alternative rock, symphonic metal, classic music.
Mostly i read classic literature or historical novels. i have many favourite books, some of them are La Religieuse (The Nun) by Denis Diderot, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, also i love Dostoyevsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

when i was a child i thought squirrels are big and fat like cats, but at the age of 17 (!) i saw my first squirrel and was really shocked that they are so small)
