I'm a easy-going and cheerful person, who laughs loudly and catchy, follows the beauty in life and loves making discovers, visiting new places and getting to know new cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment I'm trying to live every day as if I were travelling. It's funny, but when we're in another country, we know, that our time is limited and try to fill it up with a lot of adventures and experiences, but at home we think, that we have the whole time of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think, my very first CS-experience was in St.Petersburg. I went to my university and saw a guy, standing there and wanting to enter, the guard didn't want to let him in, and I thought that it was a foreigner, who wants to come to our foreign languages facutly. I came up to him and figured out, that it was just a tourist from Amsterdam, travelling via CS, and then showed him around in our city, we had a lot of fun together :)

I have been couchsurfing 3 times in my life, the first time was in Russia, then in Berlin and the last time was in Leipzig. All of the times I was with my friend Dasha, who has been registered here much earlier. But now it's time to create my own account ;)

Interests

I absolutely love foreign languages and one thing, that I definitely want to do in my life - learn at least 5 languages!
I'm really interested in photography (digital and film), a Russian intellectual game called WWW (What? Where? When?), illustrations, comics.. Singing, dancing all night long, meeting new people, learning from each of them!
And travelling for sure! (But I think, that most of the people here share this passion ;))

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite movies are: The Fight Club, Die Unsichtbare, cartoons by Hayao Miyazaki, The Double, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, movies by Woody Allen and Michel Gondry, Restless, Das Leben der Anderen, Melancholia, Interstate 60, Yes Man, Amelie, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World... Series New Girl, Adventure Time

I enjoy different styles of music, mostly funk, deep house, reggae, rock-n-roll, jazz and rock. Favourite bands are BOY, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Death Cab for Cutie,OKGO, Parov Stelar, Bonaparte, Marteria, Jamiroquai, The Baseballs, Gogol Bordello, Tom Waits, SunSay, 5'NIZZA, Земфира, Мумий Тролль, NRKTK, Pianoboy and others.

Too many books, too little time! I'm found of German literature such as Kafka, "Narziss und Goldmund" by Herman Hesse, Thomas Mann, Günter Grass, Bernhard Schlink and I really enjoy Russian literature too, especially Dostoevsky, Tolsotoy, Dovlatov...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the last amazing things, that I have seen was the Atlantic ocean. You just can't resist this huge power and you just stand there, without any words to describe this feeling and feel a little part of it. Absolutely breathtaking.
Another one which happened recently was my sudden trip to India and one of the nights spent at the Agra railway station and then walking to Tadj Mahal and the sunrise there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: German (it's my actual job), cooking some Russian dishes (what can be better, than cooking together?!), doing the sound of a cork, flying out of the bottle :D
