Overview
About Me
I am an energetic and open-minded ex-student (graduation: done!), thinking of taking Master's degree, but not quite sure yet which one.
I'm in love with travelling and discovering something new – damn pandemic 😅 hope this is over soon, and we'll get back to crossing borders again!
I adore the sea and everything, which is connected to it: sound of the waves, walking on the beach and, of course, swimming! I'm interested in meeting new people, talking to them, because they can tell you a lot about the places where they lived or have been to, stories of their lives, share some experience, or teach you something.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In summer 2013 me and my friend decided to travel to Hong Kong... At that time it didn't work out, but I signed up, and the profile was just waiting for the right moment. I had my first CS experience later, in summer 2014, when me and my friends decided to go to the Eurotrip. That was the moment we needed CS the most, and when this service helped us mostly. Now I'd like to be a part of the huge CS family, to help people socialize and find out something new while they're travelling.
Why I surf:
– No one's gonna tell you more about the place than the local
– Absolutely unique opportunity to meet as open-minded people as you are!
I've never tried hosting before, but I hope to change that :D
Interests
Certainly, travelling: I would like to visit many places. I love studying foreign languages: the more you can speak, the more you are able to understand and learn. I do love reading books, listening to music and watching films or TV series: that's one of the best ways to rest without disturbing anyone else. I adore walking, and running, and dancing! Though I bet I dance so much better in my head 😂

Books – Joseph Brodsky's poems and essays, Ray Bradbury's tales, Fannie Flagg "Fried Green Tomatoes...", travellers' diaries... [too many, I've cut this part]
Movies – Mr. Nobody, Forrest Gump, Reservoir Dogs, Dogville, Les Choristes, Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind, Demolition etc etc etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a year (almost!) in Shanghai, China
Went to Eurotrip with my friends, and my dad still doesn't know about that (my mum does though 😅) – more crazy than amazing I guess
Did a solo-trip through Europe in summer of 2016. Loved it!
Sziget Festival in 2018 – someone can call it usual, but that was a great experience ❤️
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a better learner, than a teacher, but I also have some stories to tell.
I also can teach you a little bit of Russian, if you ever need that 😅
