ABOUT ME
New story
I am living with my husband (that I met on a kind of couch surfing) in Los Angeles in a tiny flat with our cats. We do not really have the possibility to host surfers but are happy to show them around. My husband is originally form Romania but is living in the States for a long time already. We both love to travel and get to know new people form different countries and cultures... my "old" story follows ;-)
Old story :)
I am a student from Germany, who recently graduated in Cologne in International Management with main focus on Tourism.
I am not sure yet in which field I want to work in so I decided to go on a world trip with a friend. As we think its the only time when we are going to be able to travel like this we finally agreed to do a Round the World trip for 1 year.
Starting in Jordan our journey will take us to India then south-east Asia, Australia, New Zealand, States, Canada and then we will see how much time is left for our treasure Middle and South America.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the present - the past is gone forever
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to surf the couches of the world and would love to host people but there is simply no room to make it a comfortable experience for both sides. I still love to show people around if I have time (rather during the weekend).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All over Middle East, India, Thailand, NZ and OZ - it has been just wonderful so far. I met amazing people - a lot of them have become friends and I hope I will see them again in their country or in the one I am living at.
Interests
Sports (Swimming, Running, Diving, Volleyball, Horseback riding... basically everything)
Traveling (my parents are both from other countries than Germany so I grew up traveling a lot - and I still cannot get enough)
Languages (by traveling of course you learn languages - and I love this fact ;) )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

Besides I have been traveling for a year and have quite some helpful information for a lot of parts of this world - if anybody is interested in doing sth. alike.
