Hi! I’m Iris, a 24 year old teacher student from Bergen, Norway. I love dancing and travelling. Im the stereotypical Norwegian who, when not knitting, is always searching for the next mountain to climb. I’m stopping in New York for six days on my way to Buenos Aires and are looking forward to take some classes in New York style salsa and explore the city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen a lot to salsa music. I also enjoy folk and indie rock. Ive studied a bit of Latin American literature and like to read authors from the different places I visit. I don’t watch a lot of tv but when I do it’s probably a comedy show or reality dating shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve had many beautiful experiences, it’s hard to pick one. Living and studying in Buenos Aires, hiking around Sierra Nevada, doing a sailing race outside Barcelona, travelling to the Faroe Islands, trips to Denmark with my family are all memories I cherish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new skills! It would be really cool to learn to play the guitar a bit better. I enjoy cooking together and could show you the basics of salsa or knitting (I can make a mean sweater!).
