Hi! I'm Iris, born and raised in Vienna, Austria. I’m a student, just finished my degree in cultural and social anthropology and looking forward to studying contemporary dance pedagogy in fall.

Mai-July. Right now I’m travelling Colombia. I’m interessted in seeing nature and it’s phenomenons and getting to know local culture.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

surfing and hosting - surfed a little bit through Europe in summer 2015, had a wonderful time, I met some very interesting people and got to enjoy their hospitality. Now I'd like to host as well!
Conditions: I can offer you a nice place to sleep at and my company. Vienna has a lot to offer, there are many things I haven't seen and places I haven't been to in this city, we can explore them together! I want to get to know my guests, understand them and their philosophy, I won't host you if you're just looking for a couch to crash on, it's not the cs-experience I'm looking for. If you want to do stuff on your own that's fine too of course!

Interessen

I'm interested in people's stories, listening to them, learning from them. There are many things I enjoy, am interested in and/or want to learn more about: cultures, music, dancing,
food(desserts) and cooking, art, hiking, biking, yoga. Thinges I can't handle very well/dislike: ignorance, shallowness, superficiality, sexism, judgemental people , discrimination.
