Overview
About Me
I'd say I'm pretty laidback and open-minded. Generally, I don't mind what people do as long as it doesn't harm or offend anyone else. Treat others as you would like to be treated, and all that.
I'm generally empathetic, curious and fascinated by everything new! I love everything creative, from graphic design to house decoration, and I'm a film enthusiast :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find the best and most interesting part about travelling is to experience the way of life of the locals.
For the same reason, I enjoy meeting foreigners who are visiting Norway. It's interesting to hear what their impressions are of Norway and how their views differ or coincide with mine, what drew them here, etc.
I've only hosted once: three lovely Koreans who were perfectly admirable house guests. In Phnom Penh I surfed and travelled with a couple of different people that I met through a local CS event.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies is my big passion, and I watch a lot of them. I'm a sucker for beatiful images, troubled characters and great acting.
I listen to different kinds of music, usually hard rock, prog rock or singer-songwriter stuff. Also heavy metal, musicals and classical. (Very specific, eh!)
I love reading, though I'm not very good at taking the time to. My favourite genre is sci-fi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkelling with whale sharks in Donsol, Philippines.
Visiting Batad in The Cordilleras, Philippines. Breathtakingly beautiful.
Celebrated Queen's Day weekend in Amsterdam, Netherlands with some locals and some friends from England. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful city, lovely people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am keen to learn new languages (primarily French and Italian, but I find all languages fascinating), and can in turn try to teach some Norwegian to those who might be interested. I'm also keen to discover new films and movie events.
I'd be happy to show visitors around or meet up for a coffee :)
