Living just outside of a nice village in Romania, building up a self sufficient life.

ABOUT ME

We're Iris and David and we are both from a small town in the Netherlands, near Amsterdam. We're 22 and 26 years old.
We're both easygoing, open minded persons. We like to talk and learn about new subjects and listen to other opinions.
Our main goal is to slowly become self sustainable.
On our trip to Hungary on a bicycle, we tried to avoid hostels, campsites and other not so personal methods to sleep somewhere. We ringed doorbells and asked if we can sleep in a garden with a tent, did volunteering via Helpx and Workaway, used the Warmshower website and of course, couchsurfing!
Now we found our dreamspot. It's a small house with about 6 hectares of land attached to it. You're always welcome to spend the night, help a little (if you want) and walk around in the beautiful area. Last year we've welcomed a new family member: Felix :D Our son.

We like to let other people sleep here, meet them, stay at other places, and the best thing: spend no money.
