About Me
*For meetups: if I create an activity, please join the existing group instead of creating new, individual ones because I won't respond to that :)
CURRENT MISSION
To finish my bachelor's degree in Korean studies at University of Copenhagen 🇰🇷🇩🇰
I am going on exchange to Daegu for an entire semester in August! :)
ABOUT ME
What my friends would say about me: Honest, laid back and adventurous.
I am a curious person, always exploring and meeting people from other cultures.
I myself am half Icelandic (explains my name) and half Danish 🇮🇸🇩🇰 I was born in Iceland and grew up in Denmark. Therefore, if anyone asks me, I feel more Danish. I'm sorry I can't give many tips about Iceland! :)
I love music, swimming and wherever I am; to have a lot of fun with other people. I also enjoy academical conversations.
In the past few years, I've become more interested in psychology, so if you are too, let's have an interesting talk! 😃
*It's sad it's even necessary to mention this, but I don't use CS for dating. If there's a good chemistry between us after meeting up, then it's fine, just don't come and expect anything from the get-go. If I tell you I am not interested, respect this. If you only offer to host/want to visit for dating, it's an immediate "no" from here. Again. Respect this. Thank you.*
PHILOSOPHY
I've never tried this. I can probably do it!
- Pippi Langstrømpe
All mankind is divided into 3 classes; those that are immovable, those that are movable and those who move.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been using CS for more than a decade and these days I use it for meeting new people and having a good time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a few people (Sønderborg is small, so not a lot of people come there) and they've all been good experiences.
I enjoy telling stories just as much as I enjoy listening to them 🤗
Interests
I am very interested in South Korea and Korean as well as other cultures. On my days off or holidays, I like to travel or have a good party with open people, go for a stroll and have a good talk. Although these days, I am more busy with studying. I also like having discussions to view others' perspectives on general topics, such as cultures, politics, pedagogy, psychology, interests, food and music, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
I especially like movies with a plot twist or based on true events and I've got a pretty wide music taste.
Favorite movie: The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise.
Favorite artists: Jamie Berry, Rudimental, Hans Zimmer, Elderbrook, Lucas Forch, Emeli Sandé, Dean and Rad Museum.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can truly say that the most lovely moments I've had have been in other countries, making friends and living their way of life. Sharing and listening. Maybe learning a few words in other languages.
Moving to South Korea in the past has definitely reached the top #1 of my favourite moments.
