About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be happy! 😊

ABOUT ME

What my friends say in three words: Honest, happy, and kind.
I am a happy person, always want to spend lots of time with my friends, experience something new, and meet people from other cultures. I graduated from Business College South, an international class in Sønderborg, Denmark, in 2014, where I got to travel to Belgium, Spain, and China, which was amazing!

I love music, swimming and wherever I am and to have a lot of fun with other people. I will always be there for my friends, and I always wish other people the best.
In the past few years, I've become more interested in psychology, (non-)verbal body language, and different diagnoses. On top of that, I've always been curious about pedagogy. I am going to study after the summer vacation, and these subjects will be tailored into my Korean studies at Copenhagen University.

*It's sad it's even necessary to mention this, but I don't use CS for dating. If there's a good chemistry between us after meeting up, then it's fine, but don't come and expect anything from the get-go. If I tell you I am not interested, respect this. If you only offer to host/want to visit for dating, it's an immediate "no" from here. Again. Respect this. Thank you.*

PHILOSOPHY

This shall also pass 🌝🌚
이 또한 지나가리라 🌝🌚

I've never tried this. I can probably do it!
- Pippi Langstrømpe

Every time someone points a finger towards someone else, they also point 3 inwards.

All mankind is divided into 3 classes: those that are immovable, those that are movable, and those that move.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet new people and have great experiences!

I've been using CS for more than a decade now and I use it for hosting/surfing or meeting new people and having a good time, perhaps take a walk/stay at a coffee shop or have a drink together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve hosted a few people (Sønderborg is small, so not a lot of people come here), but it's all been a good experience.

Besides that, I've got a lot of stories to tell, but I'd rather tell them in person! I am a good storyteller 👍 ☺️

Interests

I am very interested in South Korea and Korean, but I am also very open to other cultures. On my days off or holidays, I like to travel or have a good party with social and open people. I also like having discussions to view others' perspectives on general topics, such as cultures, politics, pedagogy, psychology, interests, food and music, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I especially like movies with a plot twist or based on true events, and I've got a pretty wide music taste.
Favorite movie: The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise.
Favorite artists: Jamie Berry, Rudimental, Hans Zimmer, Elderbrook.
My favorite actor/actress: Will Smith and Julia Roberts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can truly say that the most lovely moments I've had have been in other countries, making friends and living their way of life. Sharing and listening. Maybe learning a few words in other languages.

Moving to South Korea in the past has definitely reached the top #1 of my favourite moments.

I tell stories in person! 😊

I also have a pen pall in Chicago, which I (by coincidence) got in contact with. He has helped me with my English grammar and also been a good friend. We've been pen palls for over 15 years by now. That really shows what the internet can give you today!
