Hi! I'm Iris, 30 years old. I am self-employed , working as a photographer and visual artist.

I am very interested in people and I like to really get to know someone by sharing thoughts and ideas about life and everything that's in it.
I love to philosophize and I can talk for hours about psychology, art, cultures and movies. I am very open minded and always looking for people who enrich me and argue with me.

I live together with my boyfriend Niels, you can see him in my pictures. We are both from the Netherlands but met eachother in Brussels.
Niels is 29 years old and working on several shortfilm projects. His goal is to become a fulltime screenwriter.
Niels loves films, literature, comicbooks and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, but I especially listen to rock, indierock, country, bluegrass and folk. Well, I can listen to almost everything.

I especially like movies that are a bit therapeutical, like a lot of psychological drama's. To me it's important that a movie makes me think about things I usually don't think about, and that it teaches me to look to the world in a different way and to see things from a different perspective.
Some of my favorite directors are Mike Leigh, Sidney Lumet and Darren Aronofsky.

I like selfhelp books, 'cause they teach me a lot about psychology and how my mind works. Regarding fiction I love psychological thrillers or drama. Some of my favorite books are 'In Disgrace' by J.M. Coetzee and 'De Vriendschap' by Connie Palmen.

Niels is a big fan of movies. One of his favorite movies is 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'. He also reads a lot, especially books like the ones of Philip K. Dick, and he is a big fan of comicbooks, especially Batman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a toad once , it was epic. I will never forget that.
Saved some other animals too, but those savings were less epic.

So, yeah, my life is kind of average.
