ABOUT ME

Hi! We are the Schmidt family: Berry, Irene, Roy and Iris. Me (Iris) and my brother (Roy) don't live in Sassenheim, but our parents (Berry & Irene) do.

My parents will also be the ones who will host you if you decide to stay with us. Through the years they got some experience with couchsurfers and they only invite surfers to stay in their house who are interested in the Dutch way of live. If you only want to visit Amsterdam and want a room for free please don't apply.

About myself: The next two years I need to do intern ships for my study Technical Medicine and this can be everywhere in the Netherlands.
I like horse riding, swimming and diving. Besides that I really like travelling and exploring other cultures, that was one of the reasons I have done an AIESEC board year during my study.
Last year ( 2015 ) I travelled for 5 months in Latin America and visisted Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.

About my parents: My father (Berry) likes to run and paint. My mom (Irene) likes animals and is learning Spanish at the moment. And same as me, they like traveling and getting to know knew people and hearing their stories.
My mum and I travelled together for a month in Bolivia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We already host a lot of different couchsurfers like people from Columbia, Amerika (Portland & Ohio) and China. And of course there is always room for more!

We like to listen to music. Favorite music depends on the mood, time of day, country etc.
