At the core of by being that's at least what I am attempting at anyways...

In less esoteric terms.. I tend to appreciate quiet though I listen to a lot of music. I also make music, solo and do collaborative work. There is an exceptionally wide span of genre's I do this in though it tends to be electronically driven, especially recently. I am really interested in Buddhism and meditation. The idea of becoming a Theravadan monk holds a draw to me as does the idea of becoming a sound engineer.

I love one on one conversations. I love spending time alone. I love spending time in wet, damp and chilly forests (especially the redwood forests in my home). I love spending time around rocky sheer cliffs. I love spending time along rugged coasts. I love all forms of precipitation; fog, rain and snow are the top three. I have recently discovered a distinct fondness for reading (fantasy in particular).

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life the way I do because I wake up everyday.. Therefore, I see no reason not to make the best of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

With respect to this site I have yet to have any experiences. However I have been a fan of sleep overs with friends since I was a little kid.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I straight-lined a double diamond on my extra wide, 164cm snowboard and descended 900 meters in less than one minute and thirty seconds.

I have done a 7 month trip around southeast Asia. I am currently doing a year long trip around Asia and Europe.
