ABOUT ME
Clare and Michael Dias currently on a year RTW trip after getting married in Ireland in May 2011.This should get rid of our itchy feet before we settle down and try and find out where kids come from :)Clare is a social worker and I'm a programmer and we both like the outdoors.We enjoy meeting new people, making new friends and experiencing the world, its culture, music and cuisine... as a local. God knows that hard work makes for great tasting food and a good sleep. We both enjoy cooking.... so let us make you dinner! This one thing we miss on the road - a kitchen!We consider ourselves family orientated with 4 godchildren between us, their parents being our close friends. We both enjoy charity work and have done numerous activities and events for different charities but namely Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie. Michael has also spent time with a children's charity in the UK that takes children on holidays where their parents can ill afford to. Socially we enjoy music, dance, yoga and martial arts.Michael is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and has conversational French.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe Diem... trying to leave the rat race and gravitate towards a more natural rhythm.

We have had amazing couch surf experiences since starting out and and we are loving it!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a 360 degree rainbow above Machu Picchu from the sun gate after waking up at 5.00 for a race down to the lost city.Seeing James Brown at the Forum in London.Hunting for caymen aligators at night in the Amazon and swimming with pink dolphins.Rio Carnival and following the samba party up the coast.Getting engaged at 10,000ft and then doing a tandem skydive!Hiring a 1950's campervan for our wedding transport - was amazing to drive!
