ABOUT ME

Hi, I am an an easy going Irish guy who loves to meet other people, undertake new experiences and basically enjoy myself. My girlfriend Michelle is at present (as of May 2012) a couchsurfing virgin. I have already met a lot of really good people through it and I would like to show her what an amazing community it is. We are going to be taking a year out to travel and would like to share new experiences with the people we meet.

In the past I have cooked for my hosts (I love cooking) and I don't think I have poisoned anyone to date...So if you are hosting us I would love to do the same for you too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participated in the couchsurfing groups in Belfast and Guernsey. Unfortunately, I have been living in hospital accommodation over the past 3 years and haven't been able to host anyone. However, I have been able to meet up with a number of really nice people and show them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used couchsurfing quite a lot when travelling, as I think you get a much better feel for the place you are in than you would do by staying in a hostel/hotel. All of the people I have met have been brilliant in different ways, although they all share one commonality...they are members on couchsurfing!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled from London to Istanbul, Sydney to Adelaide and around New Zealand.

Spent two months trekking in Nepal.
