About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play music, share fun with people and discover new places

ABOUT ME

I'm reputed for being a crazy french guy. My life is mostly about music, travels and meeting people.

PHILOSOPHY

I laugh at everything, for fear of being obliged to weep. [Fr., Je ris de tout, de peur d'etre oblige d'en pleurer.] I'm not the one who said that (Beaumarchais did), but it applies pretty well to my life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm kinda new to CS, so I'm trying to find out how it works.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through CS website? none. But I've been couch surfing on friend's couches and my couch has seen a few people come around, if that's any help.

Interests

I play in a celtic music band, Trenk. When I don't play with my band, I go to gigs (okay, I'm not a huge fan of Reggae nor electronic music but aside of that...), I climb, cycle and so on. I like fresh air, wide spaces and busy cities. Oh, and I love cooking, too. I'm passionate about photography (film photography, mostly). You can see some of my pictures on http://www.photo-and-cow.com

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm a movie fan, so there's numerous movies I like, from old american classics to british comedy, as well as world cinema, french cinema... Not fond of huge blockbusters, though.
Music: World music, classical, jazz, rock from the 70s, british pop, folk, french festive music, eastern europe gypsy rock, ...
Books: Terry Pratchett, but I'm open to other suggestions, though I have a few books I need to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed an erg alone to get away from a touristic mafia-like hotel in morocco. That was some experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn how to cook foreign dishes and I'd love to learn how to play salsa on the piano. I can teach other cooking recipies or how to play some kinds of music. Possibly a bit of Salsa / bachata / breton dances.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
