ABOUT ME

Hi there! let's introduce; I'm spontaneous, funloving, open minded, full of energy, ambitious, friendly, reliable, fit & healthy, and easy- and outgoing.
I had, back in Holland, a VEry busy full time job. Great job, great team, but no acknowledgement and little time for own and social life. And one day I saw my moment where i took the decision to give everything up i had and leave the country to go travel and live abroad. Within a month of hectic organising and sorting i left to Australia, and meant to travel Pacific and Asia after, but fell in the trap called love.... 4 years later I'm still in Australia but more than happy with my partner (Kiwi-Maori) . It didn't stop me from still exploring the places of course just fewer i guess. No regrets tho, if anything I encourage anyone to do it before it's too late.

I always keep myself busy with a lot of divers/creative things, adventures or social 'events'. Always in for fun, meet ups, hang out with friends, adrenaline, the outdoors, activities, attend parties and festivals (Holland is the best regs those!), dancing, go out for a drink or any other impulsive, random, crazy occasion!

And obviously (as any other CS) I love traveling, as much as possible!! I've been on some great trips already, but plan to do many, many... many more in life!

Always stay true to yourself, your family and close friends; Keep trying new things; Learn from your mistakes, don't live in the past; What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger; And keep the child within you alive!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By surfing, hosting and spreading the word (in reliable- /friends- circle) on how great CS is. It is truly the best way to really get to know the cities and countries you visit, but also have the best expierences with other travelers you host & meet and exchanging these experiences and stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Feel i haven't even had close to enough experiences yet, but the ones I had (host and surf) were great! And as I will always keep traveling & keep the door open to other travelers, there will be lots more to come.

So many different things!! Just get to know me and you'll understand it's a lot to write down here, from just chilling enjoying a drink/wine, outdoor activities, to crazy or extreme things and everything in between ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing things I've done is really every trip i've made. I love to travel, discover the world piece by piece, enjoy the people and cultures I meet and cherish the landscapes, things seen and the great experiences.

My trip to Cambodia! The atmosphere, the people, the honesty and happiness whilst knowing they 'just' survived war, the landscapes (jungles, flatland, beaches) everything about that country was so great. Love to go there once again.

Perhentian Island, Malaysia. Because those were the first ultimate Bounty island getaway for me. Hope to enjoy a lot more!!
Meanwhile I'm very blessed that I can add to this Fiji and Samoa. If you ever get the chance, go to the island!! So amazing, truly wonderful!

Paragliding over valleys next to volcanos in Ecuador, climbing up to Machu Picchu, wondering around deep in the Amazon, walk the unreconstructed Great Wall in China.... And many more experiences.
