Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always dreamed of travelling the globe and experiencing different cultures first hand and I believe you can't get to know a country and its customs better than by living with its locals.
Having spent about 8 months in Britain last year, I know it can sometimes be difficult to find friends in a foreign country, which is why I love the idea of couch surfing and its community.
Also, it's just awesome to meet new, interesting people from different cultural backgrounds, from all over the world :)

This definitely depends on my counterpart, but generally: I can teach you how to knit, how to build a website or fix computer-related problems; I would love to learn your story and dive into your culture; it'd be great to exchange language and cooking tips and I would definitely share my beer and Mozartkugeln with you :)
