Hi guys,

My name is Iris and I'm from China. I will move to Doha with my husband and son in Sep 2024. After living in the UK over a decade, and travelled extensively in Europe and the Mediterranean countries, I’ll start a new adventure of life — the Middle East!

Before having my son Tom, I was a very active solo traveller. I absolutely enjoyed spending time with my CS hosts and meeting new people. Those lovely people contribute my memories of travelling. I also highly appreciate all the kind help and support that I received from them. As a return, I started hosting female CSers few years ago when I lived in central London as an encouragement to female solo traveller to explore the city.

After Tom was born in March 2024, my life has been changed and full of joy. I would still like to host travellers in the future. But at the moment, maybe I can only meet up or give local advices.

1. Finland 2016: Northern light, ice fishing, husky safari
2. Kamchatka 2018: Hiking in beautiful volcanoes, hot spring and then jump into a freezing lake, lovely local people

4. Camino de Santiago 2023 - Vigo to Santiago (101km)
5. Israel, Palestine and Jordan 2023 - Solo trip (then I was pregnant straight after I was back)
