ABOUT ME

I have lived in London for two years now; teaching one year. I enjoy sport - mainly triathlons. I like to dance and am now preparing a flash mob for a friend's wedding! I really enjoy travelling; the sights, the activities, the adventures and of course, the mix of people I get to meet!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are very much responsible for our own actions and reactions. We can't blame other people for how we feel, but we can thank them for helping us to feel better. However, I know that is easier said than done :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted surfers over the past few months: two friendly American guys cycling around Europe, a French guy travelling around the UK and a French guy that hosted me in France recently. I have also met up with people passing through London. All experiences have been positive and I now want to meet more interesting characters!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was first hosted last August in Spain and more recently in France. All my hosts have been so generous with their time, local information and food (: I don't expect it but always appreciate it. I have met such lovely people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jump - in tandem and I wouldn't be able to throw myself off a bridge again!
Sky dive - absolutely amazing views and feeling
Scuba diving - a whole other world and sensation
Teaching in India - a very worthwhile experience

Teach, Learn, Share

So I've been told I make very good pancakes! I can teach English and give a little advice about swimming and cycling techniques! Hmmm...
