About Me
Will talk your ear off if we find common enthusiasms!, and otherwise happy to leave well enough alone. :) Considerate silence is my jam.
Non-smoker, happy to converse in French or English, and we can do our best at German together ;)
Have lived with roommates for years, and am used to cleaning up after myself. Happy to contribute to washing dishes, small chores.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Raw logistics + trying something new!
Am visiting a friend in Pittsburgh (arriving 12th March and leaving 14th March 2019). My Airbnb cancelled at the last minute, and since I’ve brought the tickets and don’t want to burden my friend unexpectedly, I am looking for other options.
Why not meet new people at the same time? :)
ETA: Found a place, thank you Heidi!
Will then raise the subject of couchsurfing with my roommates when I go home, it's only fair to give back!

Music, Movies, and Books
Sense8, Breaking Bad // Anything by Octavia Butler, Stanislaw Lem. The Three-body trilogy by Cixin Liu is absolutely amazing, that man has a tighter handle on suspense than your teeth on the last valentine chocolate. Diana Wynne Jones plots at a dizzying and I need a deep breath after finishing a book of hers, there is no space for it in the last ten pages!
One of my favourite things is collecting pop music from other countries. My second favourite thing is dancing to it in my room! Other notable genres include Blues, Electro-Swing, Northern Soul, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tickling an octopus while snorkeling was pretty cool.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Solid basics of tango dancing (taught in a student society for a year, up to intermediate level), some conversational French. Given notice: basics of group theory (maths).
I can cook for you, and you will live, but don’t let the French nationality fool you lol
Countries I’ve Visited
Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Tunisia, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, Scotland
